Check what changes before you edit a plant's VPN subnets
Before you confirm adding or removing a subnet, you see what it affects: how many of the plant's devices sit inside a subnet you are removing, and that the plant's on-site agent restarts with the new settings. You are also warned if a subnet overlaps another plant's subnet on the same VPN, or the plant's own direct connection.
- A device whose address is no longer covered stays in the list and is marked "Out of range".
- The address used to test the connection must lie inside one of the plant's subnets.
- 0.0.0.0/0 is not accepted; list the site's own networks instead.
- To remove a plant from a VPN, you must type the confirmation first.
- While the on-site agent picks up the new settings, the page tells you, and no scan can start.
