A scan now tells you what each device on your network is

A scan now tells you what each device on your plant network actually is: manufacturer, product name, type, model, firmware version and serial number. AI works this out from everything the device answers, including its own web page and its Modbus identification. Your plants receive this with their next agent update.

• While a scan runs, the "Networking" page shows a "Verifying results via AI" step with how many devices are done.
• Start a scan yourself and every device is identified again, including ones an earlier scan already named.
• Any name you gave a device yourself stays. Manufacturer, type, model, firmware and serial number are updated.
• Devices that speak Modbus report their manufacturer, product code and revision directly.
