You now choose email and app notifications topic by topic
In your profile's "Notifications" tab you now choose for every topic whether it reaches you in the app, by email, or both. The switch that used to keep all email off is gone, and a topic you switch off everywhere stops appearing in your bell too. "Working hours" now holds back emails only — app notifications arrive at once.
Action required: All members: open your profile's "Notifications" tab and go through the topics. Email is now chosen per topic, so the one switch that used to keep every email away no longer holds — switch email off on the topics you do not want in your inbox. And make sure every topic you want to see in your bell has the app or email selected: a topic with neither selected reaches you nowhere.
- Each topic has an "App" and an "Email" selection; "App" covers your bell, badges and mobile push.
- "Control signals" is a new topic: grid-operator shutdowns and external curtailment commands.
- Production, control-signal and availability topics reach you in the app, not by email, until you switch email on.
- Each topic under "What Notifies Me" now describes the events it covers.
- Notices about your own account are always delivered, as before.
