You can add a Huawei SmartLogger without storing its login

Storing a login when you add a Huawei SmartLogger is now optional: most readings come in over Modbus TCP, not the web interface. A check then tells you whether Modbus worked, is switched off or not permitted here, or whether RS485 address conflicts hide inverters — naming the serial numbers it could not reach.

• Keep the login stored anyway: it is what lets your plant fall back to the logger's web interface.
• While you work in the logger's own web interface, your plant logs out and leaves the session to you.
• Your plant starts reading the logger again five minutes after you last used it.
• A logger that could not be reached at first is picked up as soon as it answers.
